Yes, that’s a solar panel on the seat, and tucked under the black plastic faring, (above the speedo) is a small GPS module.

The panel, ($19.95), is from Canadian Tire and fits under the seat. For now, it charges the GPS module, my Blackberry and other 5v USB type devices – and generates a lot of conversation….

The module is from one of my favorite toy stores, SoftPocket, at Dundas and Bay. With my Blackberry and GoogleMaps for Mobiles I have a totally portable SatNav system in my pocket.
